OTH Summer is Rockin’ – 2023 Mountain Bike Race Season is Here

Houston, the flight path is clear and cleared for take off. Summer is off to a season start with a bit of a cold evening. We’re pumped to be underway and look forward to spending the next 7 Race weeks with you.
I can’t believe the season is already under way. Just 3 weeks ago we celebrated the winter series champions, and now this week we’ll be setting up the Simple Green Leader’s Jerseys for race leaders this next week. (If you are leading your class going into next Tuesday, make sure you grab the Simple Green Leader’s Jersey that you earned this week (unless you move up a class).
Speaking of moving up, did you know you can move down a Class?
No Excuses: If your fitness is lagging because of the long , wet winter we have the answer: Move Down a class
Let’s say you have been on the podium in a previous year, or 3 but want to race, there’s a plan for you. You can register for the class you think you should be in, race and if you’re faster than you think you will be we’ll congratulate you, and allow a move up with 1/2 your finishing points.
Click here for class guidelines so you can pick the right class and understand how we move people up, during the first two races of the season. We do also monitor the racing to keep it competitive throughout the season. We use RDB Race Right Bot to help keep the races fair.
