The Dual Slalom course is rideable for anyone, and so well built it will challenge to each racer to post their best times”.

Over the Hump Mountain Bike Race presented by Mazda, enters it’s 15th year of racing in 2024. A typical Over the Hump race breaks all the rules of what a mountain bike race. The typical race has been defined by uber-fit 20-30 somethings racing sanctioned UCI Cycling events. While these athletes attend Over the Hump, that’s not what makes OTH special. It all began in 2009 as a mid-week fun mountain bike race for everyone and has attracted a family crowd along with dedicated racers ever since. If you were to stumble into Lakeview Park on any race race day, you would see a race field of 500-700 racers and the same number of family, friends and spectators along with a star field of exhibitors in the Expo.
