HDX Hydration Mix Adds Mike Telega to Southern California Sales Force

HDX Hydration Mix is taking their growth in the Retail Sports sector seriously, by not only attacking a crowded market with a better product.  HDX has just announced Mike Telega has joined their Sales and Marketing team, to grow the brand, and help people discover the magic that makes HDX a smart hydration choice.

Huntington Beach, Calif. (October 1, 2013) – HDX Hydration Mix is pleased to announce the addition of Mike Telega to its sales force. As HDX continues its growth across the country, bringing category specific reps like Mike Telega on board will further the brands ability to service specialty retailers throughout the region while strengthening the HDX brand.

“Mike’s comprehensive background in the sports industry will play a key part in our on-going channel strategy to focus on performance sports retailers along with having involvement in our national marketing strategy for the overall bike and performance category,” said Vipe Desai, Founder and CEO of HDX Hydration Mix. “He’s not only respected by his peers but also comes highly recommended by the retailers he works with.”

Mike brings more than 2 decades of relationships with key retailers, along with an in-depth understanding of local business trends with added experience from his early days as a professional snowboarder. Mike started working for Oakley more than 10 years ago as a Bike Sales Rep and has grown his territory sales upwards of a 150%. In his current role, he services bike and performance sports accounts from Bakersfield to San Diego to Palm Springs.

“From my early days in Tahoe through every chapter of my life I have learned the benefits of discipline and training and how important it is to live a healthy lifestyle which carries over today to family life,” Said Telega. “I look forward to the opportunity with HDX and believe my experiences over the last couple of decades will really help when it comes to being a valuable member of the HDX sales and marketing team.”

Mike currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and three year old son and has spent the better part of the last decade racing at the elite level for various local and regional cycling teams.
