Saturday, January 28, – Families it is a FAMILY MUST DO!
You are in for a treat. Family day has more family buzz than Disneyland, for Orange County families…and it’s free for kids 5 and under. Kids 6-11 join the race for just $15.
Over the Hump Mountain Bike Race presented by Mazda, occurs summer at Irvine Lake, Silverado, CA. Family energy electrifies this event, as there’s a fun-filled ride for every member of the family.
Family Day Saturday, January 28 serves family fun as the main dish and uses bike and kid’s activities as the delivery method. Raffles, festival activities, and racing for community, and playful competition for kids and adults.

Family night delivers Laughs, cuteness, and lots of kiddo diversions…the stuff memories are made of.
Family Activities include Disney Face Painters, Bounce houses, climbing wall, mountain bike races and contests for ages 2 to 80 years old. Food truck with coffee, breakfast and lunch yummies is ready to serve you. There’s something for everybody. And for the adult in the group, we have our favorite brewery onsite, Docent Brewing

Lil’ Tikes Trikes and Bikes Race (FREE)– Anyone riding 2, 3, or more wheels (ages up to 5 yrs old). - FREE Face painting by Disney Face Painting Artists
- FREE bounce house, climbing wall
- Food trucks will be onsite to fuel families with tacos, snow cones, AÇAI and more.
Family Day Schedule:
- 8:00 AM Gates open
- 9:45 AM FREE Lil’ Tikes & Trikes Race (any number of wheels on some self-propelled vehicle will do): ages up to 5 years old.
- 10:00 AM Junior, Beginner, Intermediate Classes race ($35 online or $40 onsite)
- 11:00 AM Kids race (ages 6-8 and 9-11) only $15 per kid.
- 11:30 AM Sport, Elite, Super Sport, 60/65+, Single Speed and Clydesdales ($35 online or $40 onsite)
- 1:00 PM SSB Kilowatt E-Bike Race (Short Course, more laps, more spectator course side action.
(*there is a $5 one time plate fee for new racers)
Then, hang out with us for some awesome lake side picnic fun, great craft beer from Docent Brewing and unreal “salt of the earth” people.
For the Tike’s race, what Kind of Bike works? Any kind of kids bike will do, BMX to just an average Garage Sale find, or a Walmart “Special”…don’t let equipment be a deterrent on any of our races (especially the kids). It’s all about the Bike Party…if it pedals it is good enough. Some kids ride scooters and striders, etc (ages 2-5). It’s more about having fun than competing. Whilst some children may attend this event with the best stunt scooters in the world, it doesn’t matter if you’ve got an old scooter model. Everyone will be included in this, no matter what scooter or bike they have!
