Rock N Road New Store Design Feeds Passion and Teams
Rock N Road Cyclery is a place of passion for bike seeker and Rock N Road New Store Design is all about the customer’s experience. One of the ways Rock N’ Road supports cycling locally is getting behind events like Over the Hump, HUNKR, Non-Dot Adventures, Rwanda Ride and Amtrak Century. Sag stations, epic retail experiences and supporting teams is key to their mission. This week they are the featured shop at Over the Hump.
The past year has entered into relationships with two teams showing a commitment to the “every man/woman” cyclist, yes still including the elite racer, but not limited to just Leadville Trail 100 regulars like the Jon and Rob McGee and perineal superstars (in our mind) Brandon Gritters. Teams focused on community development and reaching out to people in the community to grow their families and riding passion have jumped in with Rock N Road. Redline Studios Race Team and Think MTB joined Rock N Road for the 2018 race season and haven’t looked back.
We asked Redline Studios and think MTB why they joined Rock N Road Cyclery?
Jeff Olson thinkMTB captain said, “think MTB is stoked to have Rock N Road as their primary sponsor this year. Although this is our first ‘official’ year together, RNR has been incredibly supportive to our members for many years. They are more than a top notch bike shop for service and product, they are true stewards of our bike community and consistently support our local races, trail initiatives, and ‘give back’ opportunities. We feel fortunate to wear their brand on our jerseys and look forward to a long term partnership!”
While Think MTB and Redline Studios may end up on a podium or two, Rock N Road’s Founder Matt Ford loves the energy they bring to team RNR, “We love the passion and energy they have for their cycling community! We love positive, enthusiastic, and helping people and these teams/clubs were a natural fit for RNR!”
Scott Hannah, Redline’s lead shared how it all started a couple years ago, “Matt had joked for a while about the Redline Studios team joining the RNR family. I confess, I didn’t want the team to be a little fish in a big pond. RNR has done and amazing job partnering with many of the best teams around, so what role could we possible play? But after talking with him and hearing RNR’s vision, passion, and commitment to cycling, I see it as an honor to be part of the RNR family.”
How does the new Rock N Road New Store Design serve customers?
Recently 3 Rock N Road stores went through a renovation, which you can find more info here, to improve the customer experience. The Goal: Warm and inviting space! Not all metal and rubber. With specific bike and product stories to entice the consumer into a new cycling experience!
Ford is excited about Specialized role in the new look and feel of the stores to serve customers, “With the help of Specialized, our #1 vendor, we wanted to raise the level of retail in the market. The consumer expects more these days and we want to be able to meet their expectations!”
New Rock N Road store design invites customers into a new cycling experience.
With the internet competition, AMAZON and other e-tailers have flooded the market. Not only do the customers expect more, but there needs to be a value proposition for brick and mortar retail, if they are to offer something that Amazon cannot. Service and people connection. And they are doing just that.
Redline Studios and Think MTB Athletes alike are getting the service and products they need, when they need them.
Asking a few members of the RLS team, what they enjoy about being part of the team:
“RNR never lets me down. When I need parts or service for my bike to get ready for OTH, they make it happen. My OTH experience is never limited by my bike equipment.” John Potts
“RNR helped me get all tuned and ready for Leadville, great customer service.” Jake Miller
“It’s great to walk into one of their shops and they know who you are and appreciate our team. Their quick turnaround in the service department and their product selection is top notch, they always have everything I need.” Sean Milam
Whether you are in the market for a new bike, or hunting for trail companions with a passion to race you’ll find something for every member of your family at Rock N Road.
Come out and experience Rock N Road Cyclery first hand tomorrow at Over the Hump as they are the featured shop for race number 11 in our summer series.
