Race #4 was full of fun, excitement, and killer racing!

Race #5 was AWESOME with super fast racing on the Sport – Elite side with a slightly shorter course.  The Beginners and Intermediates got to hit the fire road climb… or as we like to call it – the escalator to fun fun and more fun.  The kids race saw a bunch of kiddos having a great, and most importantly, FUN time on the bike.  We had two new winners for Mazda’s Fastest Lap, a thank you beer with our Veterans, and much more!

Thank You to Our Veterans

Memorial Day stands in remembrance for those that didn’t make it home.  We want to take a minute to express our humble gratitude for those that have severed our country, and especially those that made the ultimate sacrifice.  In typical OTH fashion, we chose to honor our Vets, not with a big flashy ceremony, but instead by sharing a beer with those that have served. To all of you who served, you are awesome.  Thank you for your service.

Our Featured Shop: Rock N Road Cyclery

Rock N Road was busy making it rain with showers of RNR bucks, providing some amazing volunteers, and adding their cool culture. They even celebrated one of their Team Member’s (Diego) birthdays onsite! Thanks Rock N Road, you made the night even better.

The Beginners and Intermediates Got to Tackle the Fire Road Climb

Race #4 saw Beginner – Intermediate classes head up the fire road and down the single track.  This climb is challenging so props to all of you Beginners and Intermediates out there for crushing it.

Sport – Elite had a Shorter, Faster Course

The Sport – Elite classes had a chance to hit a shorter and faster course with more laps, with the Elites hitting a total of 4.  The course was a little longer this week so… maybe expect to do some climbing next week?  😉

Mazda’s Fastest Lap Winners

Congrats to the winners of the Mazda fastest lap this week! This week’s winners will want to visit the Mazda booth next week for swag bag.

Here’s this week’s winners:

We’ll be picking 2-3 new categories each week to be the Mazda fastest lap in their category!  Stay tuned and keep pedaling!
