May 8th – Opening Night Recap
New Venue, New Course, More Awesomeness!
The 2018 season has kicked off in an absolutely KILLER fashion. Tons of racers, new and returning, filled the new venue, spectators got trackside access to the racing action with some of the best lines being only a stone’s throw away from the main exhibitor area, and families had tons of room to play… Even the mini golf course was open for play!
People come to OTH for any number of reasons, be it pure racing, weight loss goals, maximizing their fun factor, or hanging with new and old friends. Their reasons are as diverse as the individual people that race at OTH every Tuesday.
Mazda and over 80 other sponsors and exhibitors came out and set up a killer venue layout with FUN as the centerpiece.
The Path Delivered on Opening Night with a Hoedown Theme
The team at The Path absolutely killed it this year as the featured shop on opening night. The Hoedown theme was in full swing during opening night. Flannel shirts, big belt buckles, cowboy boots… they even brought a MANDOLIN to serenade the racers!
Mazda is Giving Away a $6,000 Bike This Season!
Mazda brought out a shinny new CX-5 and Mazda-6 for OTH racer to play in. Next week, they will be attaching a brand new Trek bike to the top of their cars that OTH and HUNKR racers can win. Here’s how to win:
- Enter at Mazda Booth – Head on over to the Mazda booth (in the center of the venue) to sign up on the Mazda iPads.
- The Prize – Trek and Mazda have partnered to offer a brand new Trek bike of choice (up to $6,000 value) for the winner. You have to enter to win at the Mazda Booth.
- Winner announced at Revolution Revolution Bike Fest– is returning Nov 9-11, 2018 and we will be announcing the bike winner there.
- Can enter at any OTH or Hunkr race – Mazda will be onsite, taking entries at all OTH races throughout the summer, as well as at the upcoming HUNKR race on September 29.
- You will have to be present at Revolution to win – If you want to win, make sure you are at Revolution Bike Fest for the drawing!
