You Can Help 50 Mile Ride Donate 720 Bikes This Saturday
Volunteer and participate in Rwanda Ride Next Saturday
Don’t ride, no problem. Ride, but want to help? Here’s How!
With the ride only a week away, I wanted to reach out to let everyone know what needs we still have to fill to ensure a safe and fun ride next Saturday. Here is a brief summary of the key needs as things stand right now. Anything you can do to get the word out would really help.
First aid Volunteers (4 EMT’s, Nurses, Doctors or Certified First Aid Volunteers) – these have always been hard to find and we had some cancellations this week. Here is a link to the specific First Aid Sign-Ups.
Crossing Guards (9 Volunteers)– Again this is a safety related need. We have the high traffic crossings covered but still need coverage at some of the smaller intersections. Here is a link to the specific Crossing Guard Sign-Ups.
Course Sweeps (8 Volunteers) – We need to make sure nobody is left out on the course. We still need a handful of strong riders who can help clear the course. Here is the specific link to the Course Sweep Sign-Ups.
Course Guides (13 Volunteers) – Manning positions along the course to guide and encourage riders. Here is a link to the specific Course Guide Sign-Ups.
Trail Marking (5 volunteers) – If you are available on Friday next week, Roger and his team still need some help with trail marking. Here is a link to the specific Trail Marking Sign-ups.
We are looking forward to another fun and successful ride. I appreciate your help in getting the word out on these needs.
Blessings,
Rich
