IRVINE, CA April 5, 2013 – Jax Bicycle Center is proud to announce Gary Fisher as their special guest at the opening night of the Orange County OTH mountain bike race series, May 21, 2013!  Jax Bicycle Center is the presenting sponsor opening night.

The Over the Hump mountain bike race series is going into their 5th season this year.  Over the Hump welcomes riders of all skill levels from beginner to pro, making it a truly unique race series.  Whether you want to get your feet wet in the sport of mountain biking or you want to challenge yourself to the max, there is a race for everyone!

Jax Bicycle Center is excited to be sponsoring opening night for the 2013 race series and is pleased to have Gary Fisher as their special guest.  Fisher began racing road and track in the 60’s at the young age of 12.  During the 90’s Fisher went on to win the Masters’ XC National Title and the European TransAlp race.  Fisher’s imagination led to the innovation of mountain bikes that in turn, inducted him into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame.  With creativity and an innovative spirit, Fisher designed a bicycle collection with Trek.  Trek manufactures and carries the Gary Fisher Collection that has included road, mountain, and town bicycles.
